The question was asked by a journalist, on January 26, to the group of commentators around the table led by Mónica López, on TVE1. At this point the question contains a dose of malevolence and does not have an easy answer. Nearly 40 years as a secondary school teacher, in the field of - for some years now - known as Social Sciences, allow me to have a certain perspective that, I hope is not too unfocused, to give my opinion on some topics that are directly related to what we are living and what awaits us Yesterday's walk through the Dehesa de la Villa (Madrid) fueled the reflections that continue and that were born years ago. The vision that this forest space offers today is one of authentic destruction. It comes in handy to rethink what is happening around us.

\
As if after a bombing, trees were cut down, branches broken, the ground covered with all kinds of remains, almost from a single tree: the pine. The many that still remain of this species, today, have a corpulence and sail that make them beautiful. But, apparently, they are just for show. The snowfall and the subsequent storm leave visible, in the Belgium Mobile Number List broken branches and stumps, the existence of internal diseases and force us to think what was not done properly. I know almost nothing about the forest and I leave the remedies for diseases and repair of damage to specialists. However, a first reflection cannot be avoided: the size of the trees, the taste and appreciation of the present societies, weakens them against the forces of nature. Pruning, pruning and replanting are necessary.

Humanized groves, even if we do not like this type of obligatory actions. They don't like it. It causes pity and pity for many people, they seem cruel or beyond their needs, because they prevent, they say, nature from regulating itself. This society finds quick excuses to delay less pleasant actions. Although then we have to find those responsible for the apathy that left them without the capacity to resist against natural phenomena. In the end, trees also have the right to be free once I “perceive them for myself.” Perhaps it is the latter that bases the position in the case. Like a large part of the populations in the center of the Peninsula, these trees suffered the perfect storm: snow storm, subsequent cold and all in the context of the resurgence of the Coronavirus.
